Subscription cancellation and refund terms

1. Overview

This Refund Policy is provided by MMC Media LLC, doing business as Psalmix. At Psalmix, we strive to provide exceptional music streaming experiences. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for subscription refunds and cancellations. By subscribing to our service, you agree to these refund terms.

Refund requests are evaluated in accordance with the guidelines below.

2. Free Trial Cancellation

Try Before You Buy

We offer free trials to let you experience Psalmix risk-free:

  • Individual Plan: 30-day free trial
  • Family Plan: 30-day free trial

Cancellation During Free Trial

  • You can cancel at any time during your free trial period
  • No charges will be made if you cancel before the trial ends
  • Access continues until the end of the trial period after cancellation
  • You will not be charged unless you continue past the trial period

3. Subscription Plans

Psalmix offers the following subscription plans:

Monthly Plan

  • Price: $7.99/month
  • Single user account with full access to all features

Annual Plan

  • Price: $59.99/year
  • Single user account with full access to all features (billed annually)

4. Subscription Refunds

Refund Windows by Plan

We offer the following refund terms based on your subscription plan:

Monthly Subscriptions

You may request a full refund within 24 hours of the charge date (the date the payment was processed, not the date you notice the charge). Refund requests must be submitted to hello@psalmix.com with subject 'Refund Request' and include your account email and the transaction date.

Annual Subscriptions

You may request a pro-rated refund within 7 days of purchase. The refund amount is calculated as: (remaining days in subscription ÷ 365) × annual subscription price. For example, if you cancel after 30 days on a $59.99/year plan, your refund would be approximately $54.06 (335 remaining days ÷ 365 × $59.99). Refund requests must be submitted to hello@psalmix.com within 7 days of purchase.

Lifetime Purchases

Lifetime purchases are non-refundable except: (i) where required by applicable law, including the EU Consumer Rights Directive (14-day withdrawal right for EU residents) and California consumer protection laws; (ii) in cases of material service failure. EU residents wishing to exercise their statutory withdrawal right must notify us within 14 days of purchase at hello@psalmix.com.

Promotional or Discounted Rates

  • Subscriptions purchased at promotional or discounted rates will have refund terms clearly stated at the time of purchase
  • Refund terms may differ from standard offerings for promotional subscriptions

Cancellation Rights

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
  • You retain access to the service until the end of the paid period
  • No further charges will be made after cancellation

Account Access After Refund

Upon approval of a refund, your access to Psalmix will end immediately. Any downloaded content or saved preferences will no longer be accessible. You may re-subscribe at any time.

5. Service Outages

If Psalmix is unavailable for more than 48 consecutive hours due to issues within our control, you may request a service credit equal to the pro-rated value of the downtime period. Credits are applied to your next billing cycle. To request a credit, contact hello@psalmix.com with subject 'Outage Credit' and include the dates of the outage.

6. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

Step 2: Include Required Information

  • Your account email address
  • Subscription plan type (Individual or Family)
  • Date of charge in question
  • Detailed reason for refund request
  • Any supporting documentation (if applicable)

Step 3: Wait for Review

Our team will review your request within 2-3 business days and respond with a decision

7. Refund Processing Time

If your refund request is approved:

  • Processing Time: Refunds are typically processed within 5-10 business days of approval
  • Payment Method: Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the subscription
  • Bank Processing: Depending on your financial institution, it may take an additional 3-5 business days for the refund to appear in your account
  • Confirmation: You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been processed

8. Exceptions and Special Cases

Account Termination

If Psalmix (MMC Media LLC) terminates your account due to violation of our Terms of Service, you are not eligible for any refund of unused subscription time.

Gift Subscriptions

Gift subscriptions are non-refundable once redeemed by the recipient. If unredeemed, contact our support team within 30 days of purchase for refund consideration.

Consumer Protection Law

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under applicable consumer protection law, including mandatory refund rights in your jurisdiction. Where required by law, we will provide refunds in accordance with applicable consumer protection regulations, regardless of the terms stated in this policy.

9. Dispute Resolution

If you disagree with our refund decision:

  • You may contact hello@psalmix.com to request a secondary review
  • Include any additional information or documentation to support your case
  • We will conduct a review within 5 business days

Disputes not resolved through this process are subject to the dispute resolution terms in our Terms of Service, including arbitration for eligible claims.

Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

We encourage you to contact us at hello@psalmix.com before initiating a dispute with your bank or card issuer — we want to resolve issues directly and quickly. If a chargeback is filed, we may temporarily suspend access to your account while the dispute is under review by the payment processor. This suspension is lifted if the dispute is resolved in your favor. We do not waive any rights we have under applicable law.

10. In-App Purchases (Mobile)

Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store are subject to the refund policies of those platforms, not this policy. To request a refund for an in-app purchase, please contact Apple Support (support.apple.com) or Google Play Support (support.google.com/googleplay). MMC Media LLC cannot process refunds for purchases made through app stores.

11. Changes to This Policy

For material changes to this policy, we will provide 30 days advance notice via email to active subscribers. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
